| Kanchanaburi is a province located in the western part of Thailand, about 130 kilometers west of Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. It shares borders with Myanmar to the west and the provinces of Tak, Suphanburi, and Nakhon Pathom within Thailand. In 2006 it had a population of 31,327. That number was reduced to 25,651 in 2017. | |
