Horny Corner is a long waveless beach located in Long Beach, California. It goes by many names- Alamitos Bay, The Bay, and the rarely-used Horny Corner.

Rosie's Dog Beach along Ocean Blvd between Roycroft and Argonne Avenues opened in 2003. This area is not fenced in and is not a dedicated "dog beach." The area has metered parking in the Bennett Avenue lot, trash cans and nearby restrooms.

Located on the north eastern side of Naples Island, Marine Park is locally known as Mother’s Beach, because its gentle waves, shallow swimming area and Lifeguard supervision during peak periods make it the perfect place for families with young children to enjoy a day at the beach.

Tucked behind busy streets, Stearns Champions Park has night-lighted basketball and volleyball courts, two baseball diamonds, community center, picnic area, playground, soccer field, restrooms, youth recreation, adult classes, senior programs and plenty of open space for picnics.

The 9.4 -acre Marina Green Park overlooks Shoreline Aquatic Park and has views of Alamitos Beach and Shoreline Marina. Linden Ave bisects the park into two sections. The park is a popular site for large special events permitted by the Long Beach Office of Special Events and Filming.

Long Beach Shoreline Marina opened in 1982 and features 1,624 slips for recreational boaters. Shoreline Marina is located between the Queen Mary and the Long Beach Convention Center, in the heart of downtown Long Beach.

ShoreLine Aquatic Park is between Long Beach Arena and Downtown Shoreline Marina. It is a wide open green area that is used for picnics and special events, plus a lighthouse.

The Lion Lighthouse is a decorative lighthouse located in Shoreline Marina, Long Beach, California. Its focal height is 65.62 ft (20.00 m). The RMS Queen Mary is visible from the light's location at ShoreLine Aquatic Park. The Aquarium of the Pacific is nearby. The nearest harbor is Rainbow Harbor. The light is popular for scenic viewing.

Rainbow Lagoon Park landscapes the front of buildings and provides an area for special events or a leisurely stroll along the water. The new Swan Boats by Wheel Fun Rentals at Rainbow Lagoon Park are the hottest, one-of-a-kind outdoor activity in Downtown Long Beach.

The Colorado Lagoon has a sandy swimming beach with restrooms, turf picnic areas and parking on the north and south shores. A small building used as a model boat shop and adjacent pre-school cooperative has existed since 1948, and was remodeled and expanded in 2008. A Marine Science Center operated by the Friends of the Colorado Lagoon.
