The Hanging Temple, also Hengshan Hanging Temple was built on the cliffs of Mt. Hengshan, in Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi province. Mt. Hengshan is one of the five most scared mountains in China. The very unique temple is the combination of three religions of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. About 1/3 of building body is hanging on the cliff, with its halls connected by winding corridors and bridges.
