Guatemala is a country located in Central America, bordered by Mexico to the north and west, Belize and the Caribbean Sea to the northeast, Honduras and El Salvador to the southeast, and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Its capital and largest city is Guatemala City. The population of Guatemala is estimated to be around 18 million people, and its official language is Spanish, although there are also many indigenous languages spoken in the country.
