| Chau Thoi Mountain is located approximately 4 km from Bien Hoa City, 20 km from Thu Dau Mot City, and 24 km from Ho Chi Minh City. At the summit is Chau Thoi Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Binh Duong and the southern region, dating back to 1612 or 1681, founded by Zen Master Khanh Long. The pagoda is renowned for its ancient architecture, serene natural surroundings, and a large 5-ton bell, installed in 2003. This site is a popular destination for both pilgrimage and tourism, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding plains and river. Visitors can reach the temple by climbing 220 stone steps or driving up a winding road. The area is also home to monkeys and boasts lush green vegetation, further enhancing its appeal as a nature and spiritual retreat. | |
