Binh Thuan is a province of Vietnam. It is located on the country's South Central Coast. It is sometimes seen as part of the Southeast region. The province is known for its scenery and beaches. There are also a number of sites of archaeological significance. Binh Thua­n had a population of 1,170,700 people in 2007.

Van Thuy Tu temple (Dinh Vạn Thủy Tú) was built in 1762 to worship Nam Hai God (Whales worship). It is the oldest temple dedicated to whale worship. The temple now contains over 100 whale skeletons and other strange species of fish, most of which are 100-150 years old. Most noteworthy is a 22 meter whale skeleton, which is estimated to have weighed 65 tons when alive. The temple was recognized as a national relic site in 1996.

Cổ Thạch Tự, also known as Chùa Hang, is a famous and spiritually significant Buddhist temple located in Binh Thuan province, Vietnam. The pagoda is situated in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province, about 100 km north of Phan Thiet city. Built on a rocky hillside near the sea, it is surrounded by natural caves and large rock formations, creating a unique and mystical atmosphere.

Chùa Linh Sơn Trường Thọ is a temple located at the mountain summit of 500m. It was built since 1861. More famously, it holds Vietnam's largest reclining Buddha image at 49m long and 6m in height. And together with a trio of Mahayana Buddhist statues at 7m high, Ta Cu Mountain has become an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists in Vietnam.

Pháp Võ Tự, also known as Chùa Đá Mẹp, is a beautiful and sacred Buddhist pagoda located in the mountains of Vĩnh Hảo commune, Tuy Phong district, Bình Thuận province, Vietnam. The pagoda is situated about 12 kilometers north of Liên Hương town.
