| Kampot is a province located in southwestern Cambodia. The province has abundant fertile agricultural land and rich natural resources. The provincial capital is Kampot City. Kampot City is more developed than most other towns or even cities in Cambodia, and has a strong tourism infrastructure. Kampot Province had a population of 627,884 in 2010. | |
| Kampot borders the provinces of Kampong Speu to the north, Takéo to the east, Kep and Vietnam (Kien Giang) or Kampuchea Krom (Peam) to the south, and Preah Shianouk to the west. The southern part of the province has a coastline of approximately 45 km along the Gulf of Thailand. | |
