Howarth Park is a 138-acre community park providing seemingly endless recreational opportunities. There’s beautiful Lake Ralphine for fishing and boating, a softball field, tennis and pickleball courts, picnic areas, unique playground structures, miles of hiking and jogging trails, and the K-Land amusement area.

Pepperwood Preserve is a 3,117-acre plot of land owned by the Pepperwood Foundation, located in the Mayacamas Mountains in the coast ranges of California near the towns of Santa Rosa and Healdsburg in Sonoma County. The reserve serves as a refuge for over 900 species of plants and animals.

Crane Creek Regional Park features rolling grasslands and beautiful oaks east of Rohnert Park. The 128-acre park has 3.5 miles of trails and an 18-hole disc golf course. Crane Creek flows through the middle of the park. Ridges offer sweeping views of the countryside. Meadows are covered with wildflowers in spring.
