Mount Murud is the highest mountain in the Malaysian state of Sarawak, located in the Limbang Division of northern Borneo. Mount Murud stands at an elevation of approximately 2,423 meters (7,946 feet) above sea level. It is situated within the Kelabit Highlands, a region known for its stunning landscapes and remote villages.
- Mount Murud is considered a sacred site by many local Christian communities, particularly the Borneo Evangelical Mission (Sidang Injil Borneo). There is a prayer retreat center near the summit, known as the "Bario Revival Site," which attracts pilgrims from across the region.

- The mountain is part of the Pulong Tau National Park, which is home to diverse flora and fauna. You can find unique highland vegetation, orchids, pitcher plants (Nepenthes species), and mossy forests. Wildlife includes various bird species, small mammals, and other endemic creatures.
