Phillipsville, California is a small unincorporated community located in Humboldt County, along the famous Avenue of the Giants, a scenic route through some of the most impressive old-growth redwood forests in Northern California. The population was 124 at the 2020 census, down from 140 from the 2010 census.
- Phillipsville is situated on the South Fork of the Eel River, about 5 miles south of Miranda and approximately 50 miles south of Eureka. It lies at an elevation of 289 feet (88 meters). Phillipsville was established during the logging boom in Northern California and has since become a gateway to exploring the redwood forests.
