Clark County is a county located in the southern part of the state of Nevada, United States. It is the most populous county in Nevada and is home to the city of Las Vegas, which is known for its vibrant entertainment, gaming, and tourism industry. The Deer Creek Picnic Area is found about halfway along the Deer Creek Highway, Hwy 158, with a parking lot and restroom on one sde of the road and the trail to picnic sites on the other.

The Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway site is a destination in itself. This 128acre complex has reclaimed land from a golf course into public buildings, trails, exhibits, and more. Whether you just make a quick trip inside the Visitor Center for a map and a souvenir, or stay for a hike or program, make sure to stop at the Gateway!
