| Berat is a city in Albania, and also the administrative center of Berat District and Berat Municipality. Located in the south of the country, Berat is surrounded by mountains and hills. The Osum River (161 km in length) flows through the city before emptying into the Seman River in the Myzeqe Plain. The city sits at an altitude of 80 m above sea level. The total population was 62,232 in 2023. | |
