Qeshm is an arrow-shaped Iranian island located in the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf, with a surface area of approximately 1,500 km² (576 square miles). Separated from mainland Iran by the Clarence (Khuran) Strait, Qeshm is the largest island in the Persian Gulf, boasting rich flora and fauna and many unique geological formations.
Kish is a 91.5 km² (35.3 mi²) resort island in Hormozgan province, off the southern coast of Iran in the Persian Gulf. The island includes the city of Kish. Thanks to its free trade zone, the island is promoted as a shopping paradise, with shopping malls, tourist attractions, and resort hotels. The island has an estimated population of 55,205 and receives approximately 12 million visitors annually.
