Plymouth is a town in and the county seat of Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. Located in Greater Boston, the town holds a place of great prominence in American history, folklore, and culture, and is known as "America's Hometown". The population was 61,217 at the 2020 U.S. census. It is one of two seats of Plymouth County, the other being Brockton.
Plimoth Plantation is a living museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA. The museum shows the original settlement of the Plymouth Colony established in the 17th century by English colonists, some of whom later became known as Pilgrims.
Pilgrim Memorial State Park is one of the most heavily visited parks in the state parks system. Plymouth Rock is the traditional site of disembarkation of William Bradford and the Mayflower Pilgrims who founded Plymouth Colony in 1620.
