| Pawnee Park, known as "Nebraska's Picnic Capital," opened in 1925 and spans nearly 153 acres, bordering the Loup River and the Van Berg Golf Course. The park is home to the Columbus High School Veterans Association and baseball teams. Additionally, Pawnee Park is home to the football, track, and tennis teams of Columbus High School and Scotus Central Catholic High School. | |
