| Gotland is the largest island in Sweden. It is also a province/district, a municipality, and a diocese. The province includes the islands of Fårö and Gotska Sandön in the north, as well as the Karlsö archipelago (Lilla and Stora) in the west. The population is 61,023 in 2024, of which approximately 23,600 live in Visby, the main town. | |
