| Fårö is an island in the Baltic Sea, located just north of Gotland, which itself lies off the southeastern coast of mainland Sweden. It is the second largest island in the region and a popular summer resort. The island has its own language, Faroymal, a dialect of Gutnish. The population was 505 in 2021. | |
