Northwest River Natural Area Preserve is a 2774 acre Natural Area Preserve located in the city of Chesapeake, Virginia. The preserve protects upland forests as well as swamps and marshes along the river.
Chesapeake Arboretum was established in 1996, and currently consists of a mature hardwood forest with good trail system, farmhouse, and theme and demonstration gardens.
