The Anacostia Arts Center is a multi-use arts, cultural, and community space located in the Historic Anacostia neighborhood in Southeast Washington, DC. It features an art gallery with rotating exhibitions, shops/stores selling locally made goods, the Black Box Theatre for performances, a co-working space called “The Hive” for creators and entrepreneurs, and spaces for events, community gatherings, and more.
Located east of the river just beyond Anacostia, Congress Heights and the surrounding area has quickly emerged as a hub for exciting sports events and live concerts since the arrival of the CareFirst Arena.
