The Tajikistan National Museum, located in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, is the largest museum in the country and one of the most important cultural institutions in Central Asia. The museum was established in 1924 and was originally called the Central Museum of Tajikistan.

In front of the presidential palace is the Dushanbe Flagpole, which is the second largest flagpole on earth. The flagpole is 50 meters above the ground level.
