| Lalbagh Fort is a magnificent 17th-century Mughal fortress located in the old city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The fort covers an area of about 18 acres and was constructed in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam, the third son of Emperor Aurangzeb. The fort was originally built as a residence for the prince, but he left the city before its completion, and it was later used as a military garrison during the British Raj. | |
