Located approximately half an hour east of Tallahassee, the Cypress Landing Astronomy Park is a county park which has an observatory owned and used by the Tallahassee Astronomical Society. The observatory has a 14 inch Celestron telescope. The observing pad and the observatory are located in the park at the end of the road into the facilities, on a little hill above the parking lot.
