Colonie is a town in Albany County, New York. It is the most-populous suburb of Albany, and is the third-largest town in area in Albany County. Several hamlets exist within the town. Cook Park in Colonie, just outside of Albany, is a favorite among Capital Region families for the unique and ADA accessible playground structures. Structures include transferrable swings, ziplines, net climbers, a four-person seesaw, and more. There is a second, smaller playground in the park near the tennis and basketball court.
