Englewood is a census-designated place in Charlotte and Sarasota counties in the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 20,800, up from 14,863 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota.
Visitors come to this secluded beach on the southernmost end of Manasota Key to enjoy the year-round swimming, shelling, and fishing, as well as the 1.3-mile hiking trail. Visitors may see manatees, gopher tortoises, snowy egrets, least terns, and magnificent frigate birds.
Manasota Key Beach might be one of the least crowded beaches in Sarasota County, thus giving a visitor the chance to imagine that the whole gorgeous beach is merely their own private beach for a time.
