Englewood is a census-designated place in Charlotte and Sarasota counties in the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 20,800, up from 14,863 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota.
Visitors come to this secluded beach on the southernmost end of Manasota Key to enjoy the year-round swimming, shelling, and fishing, as well as the 1.3-mile hiking trail. Visitors may see manatees, gopher tortoises, snowy egrets, least terns, and magnificent frigate birds.
