Aogashima is a small volcanic island located approximately 358 kilometers south of Tokyo, Japan. The island is part of the Izu Islands, which are part of the larger Tokyo Islands chain. The island has a small population of around 170 people, who primarily make a living through fishing and agriculture. The island is accessible by boat or helicopter, but there are no regular ferry services to the island.
