| On the narrow strip of land where Budva's Old Town is located, next to the city walls and the Old Town to the west, stands a Holy Trinity Church. Following the fall of the Republic of Venice in 1797, Austria permitted the construction of the Holy Trinity Church at the request of the Orthodox community in Budva, with the support of the Bishop of Montenegro, and construction was completed in 1804. | |
| The church has a bell tower with three bells and a dome. The facade is decorated with a rose motif above the west door. The church's altar is a work by 19th-century Greek painters of religious art and is of great artistic value. In front of the church is the tombstone of Stefan Mitrov Ljubisa, a famous writer and politician who was born in Budva. | |
