Jackson is a city in and the county seat of Madison County, Tennessee, United States. Located halfway between Memphis and Nashville conveniently on Interstate 40, and in the heart of the Americana Music Triangle, Jackson is where country music connected to the blues and the sound of Rock-A-Billy was heard around the world. Its total population was 68,205 as of the 2020 United States census.
