| Ferndale is a census-designated place in Lake County, Florida. The population was 548 at the 2020 census, up from 472 at the 2010 census. Located on the western shore of Lake Apopka, Ferndale Preserve is a 192-acre conservation and restoration area consisting of upland and wetland ecosystems. The preserve has a rolling topography with elevations of 165 feet above sea level. | |
