Gulf Specimen's primary mission is to help people appreciate the diversity of marine life and inspire a desire to protect it. They accomplish this by using touch tanks, visual exhibits, and field trips to provide unique "hands-on" experiences, allowing students to touch, smell, and hear the fascinating and exotic creatures of the Gulf of Mexico, thereby developing awareness and a desire to protect fragile marine life. | |
