Wuliaojian is probably THE must-do hike in the Taipei area. It is a tough climb through a lush forest up to a craggy ridge that is only a few feet wide in places. The highlight for most visitors is the 20 meter near-vertical cliff face that you have to climb down on a rope! Throughout the hike you will be climbing up rock faces, pulling yourself up rope ladders and balancing on the razor-like ridge.
