Houlong Cape of Good Hope 356, Taiwan, Miaoli County, Houlong Township Last Updated: 12/01/2024
The Cape of Good Hope is a must-see spot on Taiwan’s west coast in Miaoli for its dramatic panoramic coastal landscape accentuated by colossal wind turbines, which add a feel of intrigue to images captured here. Additionally, standing right next to the turbines and listening to their imposing mechanical hum will make you truly feel their sheer scale.
You can head to the viewing platform for vistas overlooking the green coastal country below, sprinkled with more turbines. There are even turbines off the coast in the ocean. You can also walk on the winding coastal trail for a bit, or even the full way (it’s an easier 2.4 km one-way journey, which might take 60-90+ minutes round trip). |
