Santa Fe National Forest is a protected national forest in northern New Mexico, in the Southwestern United States. Established in 1915, the forest covers an area of ​​1,558,452 acres (6,306.83 km²). Elevations range from 1,600 feet (5,300 m) to 4,000 feet (13,103 feet) at Truchas Peak, located within the Pecos Wilderness Area.

Pajarito Mountain Ski Resort is located on the north slope of Mount Pajarito, one of the Jemez Mountains in north-central New Mexico, west of Los Alamos.
